7th October 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: Weather: Top sunrise then cludy with rain late afternoon Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wednesday 7th October - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – top sunrise then cloudy and cooler with rain late afternoon :( I missed heading out on Mags early morning prom walk and missed a top but brief sunrise, can’t win them all but with the sun still out and lingering fog as I drove down to the ferry just in time to get a few pics before the sun disappears for the day but the rain did not arrive until late afternoon. I then took the van into the garage for a service and MOT so we could not do much today which is just as well in the uninspiring weather! Breakfast and exercises, mostly indoors. Then after lunch we had a walk down to a grey seafront with some cool clouds and was lucky enough to get another pic on the BBC today and we got home before the rain arrived! Photo Album here |
